When the studio first got the new H3, and I got to see the HUGE dynamic range and color spectrum on a 39 MP image, I remember thinking it was kind of like that first real not nervous go for broke sex. The guy I work for and I were going over some test shots with the new camera and I said to him, "Wow. I didn't think it would be this good." and he came back with, "Yeah. It's like we are finally done with the foreplay." Unfortunately in his studio I'm rarely allowed to touch the camera.
But I understand what you are saying about camera porn. I went to a bird watching group and someone let me shoot with his 400 2.8 on my body. Even though I have little use for one in wedding/portrait shooting (where I use all my own equipment) I've been in DEEP LUST ever since. Some might even say I have lens envy. But when I think about what else $7500 might do, I know it isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Not to be rude but who are you? And I suppose equally important, where are we?
