Edit: You definitely aren't alone in your dislike of the design though, lots of people have chimed in saying the same thing. As with anything Apple it has been very polarizing. I'm mostly just happy with the improved screen and flat back...as long as those hold up I'll be buying one this summer (the flat back isn't even a deal breaker, but the screen definitely is).

I agree that a high quality screen would be a welcome addition, but I'm not sure about the flush back. Perhaps if they rounded off the edges a bit and then had the flush back I may warm to the idea a bit more!

Either way, I bought into the 3Gs so I'm quite happy to sit this one out and probably get the model after this!

EDIT: Yeah, I saw the letter, but I figured "If your going to pretend you have the new iPhone, what would stop you from creating a fake letter to strengthen your argument?" I'm not saying that I think it's a fake letter, you understand, I'm just saying that while I doubted the authenticity of the leak, I had to also doubt the letter...if that makes sense!
