Yeah, I went and played it again just now because you'd reminded me of it... Legolas Send a noteboard - 02/05/2010 09:26:25 PM
it was incredibly kickass. but the CD got ruined/lost somewhere.

The trade aspect really annoys me in Caesar III sometimes. My biggest problem becomes that markets for some reason don't have food! I have surplus sitting everywhere...but it's not ending up in the markets! So my houses don't evolve, or devolve.

and the food thing, more than anything else, chased me away again before too long. I had already reached all the requirements in the scenario (it was an older saved game), except prosperity, which required improved housing, but since all the farmland was in a hard-to-reach place, and with the markets being as unreliable as they are, gaining prosperity proved extremely difficult so I gave up.

If you're looking at Age of Empires-type games, I recommend Age of Mythology. Gher - 29/04/2010 01:34:58 AM 971 Views
Ah, yes. That's another great game, from the same studios that made AoE. BlackAdder - 29/04/2010 04:16:41 AM 900 Views
The plotline was okay. I usually play multiplayer though. Gher - 29/04/2010 04:06:08 PM 962 Views
AoM is great fun, but somehow it doesn't have the replayability of AoEII Conquerors, for me... Legolas - 01/05/2010 01:35:53 PM 911 Views

If you liked the Caesar 3 demo so much, the obvious suggestion would be Caesar 3. Legolas - 01/05/2010 01:59:16 PM 1159 Views
