LOL @ mention of Game Genie TaskmasterJack Send a noteboard - 03/07/2010 07:00:27 PM
The boss at the end of Star Trek Elite Force. The only way I was ever able to beat that jackass was to put God Mode on. Even then it took about 30 minutes to kill his ass with the Torpedo Launcher. Just thinking about that battle pisses me off now, and it's been about 5+ years since I "beat" it.

God mode?
It sounds like something you put on for the game to be harder (ie "beginnger mode" "advanced mode" "GOD MODE!")

Nice! I don't think any of the games I play have that option.

I just think that you'd need a Game Genie for that stuff.

Old SNES games is what I usually play. But I have never heard of a Game Genie.

Game Genie was kind of a peripheral add-on that went between your console and the cartridge being plugged into it. It's a lot like Morpheus says in the Matrix, it allowed you to bend some rules and break a few others. Effects varied from cheat codes giving you unlimited ammo to things like being able to make ridiculously long jumps in Mario.

It depends on the type of boss. There are two broad categories, one of which you'd probably enjoy. - 02/07/2010 04:59:33 PM 1329 Views
