Woot! Bioware officially announced DA2. No word on when it's going to be released yet but probably sometime next year.

Taking place over an entire decade? That's certainly something new from Bioware. The only thing I want from DA 2 is that it have a better/longer overarching story arc so this seems a step in the right direction.
I don't know what they mean by new visual style though. I hope it's not too big a difference from the first game.
