Does anyone know how to fix the unit selection "lag?"

I have a pretty good gaming PC that runs SCII with all settings on Ultra at high framerates. However, one thing that bugs me is there seems to be just a slight lag on the unit selection box. You click, drag, and the green box seems to follow just behind the mouse. It's barely noticeable, but since you select hundreds of times per mission, and I'm used to instantaneous selections, it's starting to get to me. Does anyone know of a fix for that? I saw the checkbox that says "speed up mouse precision" (or whatever) but haven't tried it yet. That didn't seem like quite what I was looking for, since the mouse doesn't seem laggy, just the selection box.
Anyway, I'm at work so I can't really google the problem (work blocks most gaming sites), and was just wondering if someone had run into that before.
