Gotcha. LordPerrin Send a noteboard - 03/08/2010 08:42:35 PM
They're almost unanimously considered good games, just not as great as previous Zelda games have been. I'm more of an exception to the rule here, and my own disappointment in them is born from years of putting the Zelda series on an unnaturally high pedestal (I used to run the largest Zelda fansite on the internet!), followed by a pretty severe burn-out and bitterness that the new games in the series aren't as sublime as the old ones, or that they're developing in directions different from what I would choose.

So don't discount them altogether on the bitter words of an ex-fanboy, basically :P

I played a lot of Mario games when I was younger, but I am interested in trying the Zelda games.
I'm not strange. I'm normal. Everyone else is strange.
Oosta!
