so i've recently wiped my laptop, it was getting so slow and i wanted to play some old games on it that i hadn't played in years, namely the baldur's gate series. along that vein i was wondering what other old games that will play on a laptop that's about 3 years on vista would you recommend?

i'm looking at

plane scape torment
icewind dale (series)
fallout (1 and 2)
and maybe some civilisations (which ones?) and any similar strategy games

for the xbox 360 i was looking at getting resonance of fate and halo wars, just wondering what people's thoughts were and if they might recommend anything similar to the above. i'm a fan or RPGs and RTSs
