Jade Empire and KoToR are like brothers, or at least cousins to some degree. Indeed, by that logic all Bioware games are, for the most part, members of the same incestuous family tree, but whether it is because of the time proximity in which I played those two or their true similarities, I have always identified them together.

And Dragon Age, like KoToR and Jade Empire always distinguished from Mass Effect in the dialogue format. Whereas in ME you have a dialogue wheel that clearly spells out which options are good, bad, neutral, special, etc, in the other games there was a need to actually read the responses you could choose from and decide which of them was the good one, bad one, asshole one, etc. I just always enjoyed that more, even if it did create annoying situations sometimes where I was unsure of what to say.
