Creepy and scary. The gameplay was phenomenal - smooth and fun.
But as you said, the story made this game. Wow - I loved the twist halfway through.
I agree with you about the last boss - too easy. But I rarely find a game that I want to beat on the harder settings (Mass Effect 2 is the acception). Usually by the time I get to the last boss, I'm ready for the final cutscene and credits.
