whether to do skinning or herbalism to maximize profit for your time is very server-dependent. on my server, skinning gets you very little bang for your buck.


I typically view mining/skinning as a better combination overall since the tracker only works for one of either mining or herbing. I guess I just see it as a matter of time-efficiency. :)


I think they've either fixed that, or will fix that in the next patch. I forget which. But I read in some notes recently about changes to fix tracking both herbs and mineral deposits at the same time. I just can't remember if it's an applied fix or an upcoming one.
