I've heard good things about it and am vaguely tempted to give it a whirl. Apparently it's nowhere near what an online D&D game should be, but for what it is it's supposed to be decent.

I used to play EVE Online and it was fantastic, but also monstrously time-consuming. My friend was saving to buy a Titan (a type of ship that makes a Super Star Destroyer look puny by comparison) and his entire corp was pouring money into the pot. I think he gave up after about a year and a half and was merely able to afford a fleet of battle dreadnoughts that eclipsed the sky instead.
