I've no idea where you work, but the usual BestBuy employee is pretty bad about this stuff. I'm guessing you work somewhere more specialized, though, considering BestBuy card selection also tends to be iffy...
I work for Best Buy (not in a store) and yeah, there's a lot of very uninformed guys who don't know a large variety about the stuff they're selling.
