Yeah... I've been doing some more reading about these cards, and it seems like, on a like-to-like comparison, ATI cards are generally quieter, cooler, and less power-hungry than NVIDIA ones as well. Plus, I find that I have a few extra $$ that I could spend on my system and I'm trying to decide whether I should spend that towards a better graphics card (like in the GTX470 range, which runs hot and loud) or upgrade from i5 to i7. I'm leaning towards the latter since it seems like it will be easier to swap cards (or add a second one) later than it would be to swap 1156 to 1366, which would require a new mobo and all.
