The Shattering took effect yesterday. Graphically, everything in Kalimdor and Azeroth now looks like Northrend - which is not impressive solely because we've been playing in Northrend for two years now. "Old World" quests have been completely redone and replaced: on characters that had completed 700 quests while leveling to 60 in original WoW, only about 10 remain as counting towards zone completion (so, I will have to start Loremaster from the beginning...) though they do still count towards the Seeker achievement. The addition of instance maps are hugely appreciated, especially for places like Blackrock Depths.

So far it's been really interesting. A bizarre mix of new and familiar.

All the new flight paths are awesome; especially in the sub-20 zones. *NM*
