When I was like 10 I wrote a letter to Broderbund telling them that they needed to make a space version of it. I got a very nice response that thanked me for my interest (and addressed me as "Master," which amused me) and said that although they were unable to accept plot ideas from their customers, such a game was likely to be made in the near future. And it was.
