I don't blame you. Both times I quit (significant raiding in Classic, and then just before starting to raid in BC), I quit cold turkey. "It's stupid that I'm putting so much time into something that means nothing." Account cancelled, didn't fire the game up again for months the first time, years the second. I was even the main healer for a guild's Karazhan (or however you spell that) hopes on quit number two. They probably weren't happy with me.

The problem is. . .it's just so much fun. When it gets down to it, the reason I quit before, and the reason I didn't want to play again, is that I enjoyed it so much that I put too much time into it. I mean, everything you get in a standard "contained" experience is present in an MMO, except on a grander, living, ever-changing scale. It seems silly not to do something because you enjoy it too much, right? Maybe?

Anyway, I'm going to try to play more responsibly this time around (uh, with the exception of my initial binge) but it may be the sort of thing I burn out on again in a month or two. We'll see I guess.
