I bought FFXI but I couldn't get their online setup to accept my credit card info (something wrong with their site, I'll try again later) so I bought Fallout: New Vegas for 40% off (I think) plus Splinter Cell: Conviction and Splinter Cell (the first one?). I had the second or third splinter cell for PSX all those years ago and liked it but couldn't really get interested enough in it. Now that I've started casually gaming with my laptop I figured I'd try them out since they were so cheap.

GOG has a ton of shit on sale, too. But I'll never be able to decide out of all the titles. *NM*

Call up some other bank / credit card company and get yourself a refillable gift card.

Unless it's multi-player, you should be able to play most anything in offline mode.

That logic is why I bought the King Arthur strategy games for $5-something the other day.
