Still very meh about it. This thing was half baked and nowhere nearly as well developed as the first one. Damn you, WHY CAN'T YOU MAKE A COMPARABLE SEQUEL???? (I'm looking at you, KOTOR & Mass Effect)

I'm a mage now - was rogue before. The mage is fun to play with and Carter is badass as a tank (i have him leveled as a Vanguard... he usually kills all other nearby party members with friendly fire, but it's fun to watch - Isabella has died so many times...). The lack of specialization for the party members is still the biggest let down for me - and not just the armor. Isabella can't become an assassin, Merrill can't heal anyone, Varric can only use one weapon the whole game? What if I want him to melee? Oh, right, they didn't have time to program that in. Just like they didn't have time to program how the companions would look with different armor.

Still, I lent out my DA: Origins to my friend who is playing through for the first time and he keeps calling me telling me how much he loves it. I can't reply the same.
