If it's as long as Portal 1, then I completely agree A Deathwatch Guard Send a noteboard - 20/04/2011 10:54:31 PM
And if it's much longer... then I'm going to get bored of it. As yahtzee said, portal was the perfect length because it left you wanting more, but never crossed the line where it became repetitive or monotonous. For those that wanted to stretch the gameplay out there were all the additional challenges and puzzles, after all, so everyone had something.

As fun as Portal 1 was, I would never have gotten it if not for the Orange Box, not unless it was selling for $10 or less. And the same goes for Portal 2. Maybe $15 for it, but no higher.

And in answer to Zalis above, if Bulletstorm (a name that is vaguely familiar to me?) is a crappy game and costs more than Portal 2, that still doesn't mean that Portal 2 is a good value. It just means that they're both ridiculously overpriced. As a rule of thumb, I typically want to get an hour of enjoyment for every dollar spent. But my expectations have no doubt been tainted by RPGs.

Agreed. As masterful as Portal was, I'd rather wait for a price drop. *NM* - 20/04/2011 07:25:16 PM 723 Views

Stating that it seems overpriced to her != a "holier than thou" attitude. - 20/04/2011 07:35:51 PM 1140 Views

Bulletstorm is single-player + coop only and sold for $60. What do you want? - 20/04/2011 09:14:34 PM 1191 Views
Given that short review, I'd say anyone buying Bulletstorm is being severely ripped off. - 21/04/2011 12:45:06 AM 1080 Views
To be fair, it's my opinion of the BS (hah) demo. A case of interesting gimmick + bad execution. - 21/04/2011 01:35:25 AM 1218 Views
okay I get the point you were trying to make with your comparison... - 21/04/2011 01:54:16 AM 1166 Views
