First things first, repeatedly shipping back pieces and waiting weeks for the replacements is not nearly as easy, relaxing, or fun as you seem to think

I was asking about the money. I know it's not easy, relaxing OR fun to send in a bunch of computer parts.
I was just saying that I couldn't see how you could lose the amount of money you apparently did, even in the worst case scenario. In my case, I had a motherboard problem that broke several other components... maybe? Over a period of about 3-4 months, I replaced every single part in my computer, more or less. One at a time. Each time, it would seem to fix the problem for a short while, then start breaking again. Never did quite get to the bottom of it.
That sucks. Did this happen to the computer that you were asking for help building on Facebook a few months back, or was that one the replacement for your problem box?
About half of the time, I was taking it to a computer shop for them to look at. Most of the money I lost was from those service fees, as opposed to actually purchasing parts.
I see. That makes more sense. Oh, and out of curiosity, did you ever replace the power supply?

Just get a pre-made and add a few components (ie: graphics card) to make you feel like you built it. *NM*
