Eh? What's the difference between a storyline and a story arc? I don't follow you here.
the storyline is the story that's running through the game, ie the whole reaper thing. the storyarc is how the story is told or unfolds etc.
so basically i like the story continuing from ME of the reapers and the end of sentient life. what i didn't like in ME2 was how the story was told and how and when it was told
the first act consisted of recruiting some party members, then being told a little more story, then get some more party members and learn a little bit more etc. the story and the game wasn't well structured or perhaps it was structured exceptionally boringly, either way you didn't get compelling moments like at the frozen planet chasing the asari matriarch or saving the frontier planet from the thorian. it just felt like lots of little side missions rather than a mission as a whole.
that's what i meant by storyarc in ME2, simply the way the story was told and the pacing of it etc.
ME3 delayed.
