although there are 3 (?) expansions for it. There are also a number of downloadable mod's that I found really fun as well (e.g., Rhys and Fall)
Never played it on a mac so I dunno, but a decent cpu is a must, otherwise you'll be waiting forever for turn to be processed. A decent gpu also makes the game more appealing.
i want to get one and i wondering, 3,4 or 5? which expansions/versions etc.
i played civ rev on the 360 and loved it and i remember playing (i think) civ2 ages and ages and ages ago and loving that too i was wondering which you would recommend?
and for teh one you recommend is it worth getting a more expensive version on my mac(newer better specs etc) or a bargain bucket deal for my old pc laptop?

Exactly this. If a game doesn't have multiplayer, I need it to have story. *NM*

He's definitely a top-tier player. Beta tested Civ4, as I understand it

Eh, I mostly just wasn't a fan of espionage's mechanics. I don't think it really changed much, tho
