So last week I participated in my first Friday Night Magic. I showed up with one of my decks, got annihilated a lot, then got matched with some guy about my level, we had a good game which I won, and then I played a girl who totally hustled me. I told her I was new and not very good, she said that she was the same, then preceded to destroy me in three turns with some meta-game stuff I didn't see coming, all the while smiling and being cute in that lower 20's way. It was like being savagely beaten by Kaylee from Firefly.

So now I'm buying more cards, looking for a way to beef my decks. I've been complacent for months. Now, I want blood.

In related news, Wizards of the Coast are evil, brilliant bastards.
