But I'm only a couple hours in. Today will remedy that. The graphics are lovely, and I'm only playing on Medium settings. The slightly-new levelling/skills/stats mechanic is great. You really can play the way you want to play now, with very little in the way of penalty for not knowing what you want to do off the bat.
So far, I'm enjoying it a lot more than I enjoyed Oblivion. It's much more akin to how I felt when I started Morrowind back in the day.

I'm only an hr in (started at midnight) and I definitely know what you mean by feeling like morrowind. Except I'd say more like a Morrowind/Oblivion mix would be a better description. I'm not understanding why you ALWAYS start off as a prisoner though. Every game.
I'm liking the menus although they are a bit..weird to navigate. I guess I like the look of them more than the actual feel. Oblivion didn't look nearly as nice but was easier to find what you needed.
Magicka is OP. But that's about it. If that was brought down a few notches, everything would be balanced. I even find myself using a bow and arrow! 3 or 4 hits and someone dies...unlike 20 in oblivion.
The game does look pretty sexy too. I have mine on ultra settings, everything maxed out and it's pretty stunning...but still, BF3 looks better on ultra. You can tell they designed it around the 360.
