I was probably too busy playing Doom or something. Then again, I didn't *really* get into PC gaming until after Goldeneye on the N64. Once I played the crap out of that, despite its limitations, I realized that PC shooters were better. So, I went back to Doom, eventually Quake, eventually found Warcraft, Diablo, and so on...
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.
