I downloaded and installed the demo and played the first five minutes (due to time constraints, not a lack of incredible awesomeness!). Right from the start they gave options regarding play style: rpg, story, fighting, etc. I don't know exactly what the different options do or if this is only for the demo and not the entire game, but my guess is that they have increased or lessened the character customization, story, and fighting depending on your selections.
