Tends to lose any lustre it might have possibly had when you find out that you cannot die in the game.

If memory serves, the worst thing you get from "dieing" is a scar or something which makes people respond less positively to you. Of course if you dance around in front of them or whistle a tune they all immediately want to marry you anyway, so it doesn't really make any difference.
