It takes some getting used to; it's a semi-automatic rifle, almost. But it's really powerful, and good at both mid and long range. As for close range... I'm a Krogan Soldier. Heh. Heh. Heh.
My normal melee attack is +90%. My heavy melee attack is presumably much stronger. If I discharge fortification, I get another +90% on top of THAT. Good times.

Quarians arent exactly suited for melee, after the Raptor commendation packs came I've only played QI and I think my total melee kill count after that is two.
