But Sony/Microsoft... I've never gotten the impression that they had something I couldn't get on the PC.

There's plenty of stuff that doesn't come on PC. But as for the Wii U, it wouldn't be the first time that I got a whole system for a few game franchises, and I'd do it again.

Super Mario Brothers
Mario Kart
Zelda
Metroid

Release one of those, and I'm gonna get there eventually.
