I agree that there's a pretty good number of quality games out there, but a lot of them are slightly older titles (still modern gen) that I haven't gotten around to playing yet. For example, I'm playing Fallout 3 and Gears 2 right now. Both fantastic. I'm a little behind the times, but hey. Cheaper that way. 
There are a LOT of good games out right now.
