Apparently Interplay, who only exist in name only as a budget operation now, have managed to get control of the game licenses again to release them in Europe, but Wizards of the Coast, who own the DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS, PLANESCAPE and FORGOTTEN REALMS trademarks used in the games, are apparently opposed to them being released in the USA without them getting a bigger cut. They're also blocking re-releases on Good Old Games and Steam.

Once that gets sorted out, the games can be released, but how long that will take is unclear.
