Well, either that or kill an NPC really early on so they don't think that you spare anyone. Make it obvious it could have been them.


I'm in a campaign that's been going on for almost three years, and there have been three character deaths so far (although it must be said that one of those was a direct result of another player's actions, so perhaps it doesn't count).
