I was wondering how many of you out there have played this game before. My friends and I have been playing this German-import game (designed by the genius of Klaus Tueber) for years now, both tabletop (it is a board game) and online (most popular site to play is www.games.asobrain.com).

I've seen the crappy XBox/MSN versions, and they suck.

I'm sure the Europeans on this site will have at least heard of it (very very popular over there, and I think it is the National Sport of the Netherlands LOL), if not played it, but it doesn't seem to be that well known here in the States.


I enjoyed it alot. I played it for the first time last week with my wife and some of her coworkers when we all got together for dinner.

It seems like that certain colors have advantages over others. I played Red and I was stuck in the center of the island trying to get brick so I could build roads out to a port to trade. White also seems to be at a disadvantage since they're split up.

I'm actually thinking of getting it for myself. :)
