I love playing classes that no one else plays. My first WoW character was a full protection spec tanking warrior. Anyone remember how many of those there were at release? Yeah, that's right: one. 
Anyway, it's fun to play rare classes. They're likely to be in demand, and if they're not, the developers will overcompensate with one of the first patches, and the class will be overpowered for a good long time.
