So no one seems to play this game apart from me & Beqi (although I think I saw Nate started he must be on the wrong server [sivlerload btw names come after] names will comes after committment)and you are all console jockeys or f%&king WoW heads...
tis a shame
However it was a pile of pish compared to wow, in fact it was pretty much a poor WoW clone. The pvp was non-existent, the graphics were nice but too intensive for many machines at the time, the story was the great selling point...but not enough. Like most fantasy mmo's in the last 4 years, LOTRO had to answer one important question...what distinguishes me from WoW?...and the only answer it had was "it's set in Middle Earth" and that was not enough to haul most people away from a game that played better, which they had already invested huge amounts of time in, and which was (and still is) the class leader.

I am morally and ethicallly opposed to playing a game in which you spend 50 bucks for the game...

That argument only holds water if you spend a lot of money on games.

It holds water if you buy 3 games a year.

3 new games. Which I don't do (although in fairness this year was an exception).
