Regardless, I try to camp as little as possible. I do a lot of playing by ear though, listening for footsteps, etc, so it can lead to lots of kills around corners. Moving from spot to spot is my usual routine, heading back to certain areas if I need to restock.

If I'm playing something more ridiculous, such as Unreal Tournament or Team Fortress 2, I'll be almost strictly run 'n' gun.

My recent FPS gaming hasn't given me many opportunities for that, however, since I've mostly played L4D & L4D2 over the last year. I'm still bitter about Infinity Ward's treatment (and pricing) of the PC version of MW2, so I'll wait on that.
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.
