I would love to play Elite with current gen graphics and multiplayer.


They began to develop an Elite MMO in 1998 but dumped it in 2000. Elite 4 is in development though and will be Brabens next project once he finishes Outsiders.


It has a good go, of course, but solo-play in EVE is a bit dull and you really need to join a corp to get the best out of the game. ELITE is much more based around the idea of it being you in your Cobra Mk. III against the universe. EVE is, however, a logical extrapolation of the basic ELITE premise.
