I am not a hardcore gamer and it's more fun for the whole family, which is what games should be anyway, IMO. 
I'm glad people enjoy the Wii, it just seems like one giant gimmick, to me. Everyone I know who has one (myself included) keeps it in a closet, and digs it out for a few minutes when people come over, just to show them Wii Sports, or Fit, or one of the four or five variations on those games. There's nothing else to play on it. I know people who wouldn't even realize they were playing Wii if they didn't see a floating torso with a tennis racket.
So. . .yeah. If you like it, awesome. I don't have a problem with it, I just think it's unjustly popular for the comparatively little that it offers, compared to the other REAL game consoles.
