There is only one reason I can see. To destroy PC Gaming Wibble Send a noteboard - 19/02/2010 06:59:45 PM
It's something I and a lot of others have believed for a while now. Margins in console gaming are higher, piracy in console gaming is lower, technical manipulation of users in console gaming is easier (generally I would suggest PC gamers are more technically savvy and aware of what their PC is doing). PC gamers have generally been more vocal and demanding.

So why not just wipe out PC gaming and focus on consoles? I honestly believe some games companies want that, they wont say it, but there is no other explanation for systems like this DRM.

I don't think these companies realize they're encouraging piracy. - 19/02/2010 06:11:51 PM 981 Views
