It *is* my fav FF, and FFVII was my least favorite. However, I'd rather see the remake of FFVI simply because it would be a much larger upgrade and change. 3D to 3D is okay, but SNES sprites to 3D is sooo much cooler. 
VI was a better game IMO, but it doesn't have the broad fandom that VII has. We can always dream though.
Hell at this point I'd be happy if VI was released in it's original glory on PSN....updated sprites or not, I'd still play the hell out of it, and gladly pay $10+ to play it. (I know I can download an emulator, but I'd just like to do it on my tv and on my console...ya know?)
