It was a disappointing game. Looks great, but there isn't any depth or strategy at all. Jacob Send a noteboard - 25/03/2010 05:12:31 PM
At most, the experience is just reactive... in that at greater difficulties you need to run around to collect supply drops in order to heal up, and the like. But, for thee most part, you could just click and drag and let it go like that.

I know for a fact that the Chaos Marines are back in the Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising expansion. Sadly, as an expansion, they don't seem to be changing game play. 15 new missions with a new 'planet'. New level cap (30). The only interesting thing seems to be a new single player character, a mechanic that can equip powerful equipment that can lead to chaos corruption. That might be interesting used in the right way, but I don't give DoW II the benefit of the doubt there.

It was extremely annoying to load the game, and then have to wait 11 hours, for me, for the game to actually load through Steam.

Why must they drag the internet into everything? A (very very bitter) Dawn of War 2 rant - 25/03/2010 02:19:44 AM 904 Views
internet will become the bane of single-player gaming, imo - 25/03/2010 03:21:46 AM 565 Views

In full agreement on the DRM. But the Tyranids predated the Zerg by quite a long time. - 26/03/2010 12:24:50 AM 635 Views
