My son has another evaluation. It will be quite extensive. It will be a figurative landing pad and launch pad all at the same time.
I'm nervous, even though I've been handling this fairly well until now. I just don't want to make any mistakes, he's going to have enough challenges as it is. Since I first started this little journey with evaluations and consultations, it has been nothing but mixed messages. I don't know if I should get my hopes up for answers this time, but I really just need answers. Then I can launch a new ship.

I totally understand. Being a parent is so hard. These choices and Dr visits and evaluations are so nerve wracking! *big hugs*

If nothing else, surely knowing and acting is better than not, so you've already made progress. May it continue apace, and try not to worry more than you can help. Here's wishing it becomes little more than an inconvenience for him (I honestly don't know how likely that is.

They're thinking autism/Asperger's, correct?
First off, good luck with everything. 
Secondly, my current boyfriend has Asperger's. His mother studied autism extensively and recognized the signs when he was quite young, then worked with him throughout his childhood. Now, it is quite hard for people to tell; most are surprised to hear that he has it. I am happy to ask him questions if that would be helpful at all... NB is good for that.
