Restructures are horrible

My department is going through a restructure at the moment. 19 people are losing their jobs - including my manager. Everyone's surly and quiet and uncomfortable. It's unpleasant.
This hardly affects me, really. I've even volunteered to move into another team since they (basically) threatened to choose two people to move anyway.
But it's not a nice place to work at the moment - hasn't been for a long time. And in all likelihood there'll be another of these in a few months' time. That will be number 5 in 4 years for this department.
Not fun.
Big companies can be awful to work for.
