He is here!! My little buddy is here! And I got to be there to see him come into the world!!

That was different. Not exactly what I expected as I had never seen anything but my big belly when I was having kids. But he is so sweet and soft and adorable and he did melt into me like butter into hot toast and I drank in his sweet, peaceful little spirit. Mom is tired but doing well. His daddy is ecstatic and totally smitten and Laura is happy. Oh, life really is good.
I didn't sleep much last night after she told us that her water had broke and brought the puppy over for us to keep for them while they were in the hospital. Then I had to go to work and then went to be with her while she had the baby. I am so tired. But peaceful. He is a peaceful baby. I think he will be good for all of us.
