Journal: Entry for BlackAdder
Gather the press - it's time to announce where I'll be this upcoming Fall.
I've left the powder at home. I've instructed my "business partner" to fax my notice to my current employer. Only a couple of people know this news before I'm about to announce it to the whole world.
This summer has been an interesting one for me, and I've finally decided to take a longer-term position in one place. Ultimately, BlackAdder knows this is a business and BlackAdder had to do what made BlackAdder happy.
In this Fall -- this is very tough -- in this Fall, I'm taking my talents to Marina Bay and Singapore.
No doubt my boss must be preparing a tirade about how I quit on their team and my current co-workers and clients are burning replicas of my badge as I type this, but I just want them to know that I am completely screwing them over. Thus the announcement.
There's no way back from this. It is the end of an era.
