I remember that episode, overall, DS9 was a great series!

If I remember correctly, the first few seasons were okay, but constantly improving. Seasons 4-7 were top notch and sometime even better than TNG. Lots more character development, likely due to the fact that the station is a fixed location.
If it's on Netflix, I really need to rewatch some of it. I loved the series.
