These are not good people who get carried away. These are bullies of the nastiest sort, the type who've actually deluded themselves into thinking their behavior is righteous. When in reality, they simply crave the high they get from righteous indignation, as well as the chance to show off to their peers what "good" people they are. These are people who viciously turn on others for the slightest misstep, demonize entire groups of people for traits they can't help, socially ostracize people for wrongthink, dehumanize their victims to justify their nasty treatment of them, only go after socially acceptable targets like the cowards they are, and ruin lives, careers, hobbies, friendships, and civil discourse with their constant search for their next dopamine rush/chance to virtue signal.

The guy who said "he is colored" during a conversation where "people of color" was being said every other sentence, CLEARLY meant no harm, he was simply uninformed of the degree of acceptability between two very similar terms. Someone would have to do some really impressive mental gymnastics to consider such a person a threat to non-whites, but this was a forum full of rage junkies looking for their next hit, so out came the pommel horses and balance beams.

Poor guy never stood a chance.

He never really posted much after that either, so I guess the SJW lynch mob considered it a job well done.
