I'm not certain the original quote is directly applicable, but the words certainly sum up what I think about free speech and "offensive" speech. Let everyone hear/see for themselves what someone else thinks. Then, if you don't like it, rebut it. Let the people see both sides of the issue and decide for themselves.

The terrible don't want everyone seeing. Alex Jones certainly doesn't want most people seeing what he has really said. In order to crush this bug, we must see this bug. Vile little creatures such as he flourish in the dark. He tried to backtrack a lot because he knew what he had previously said to his feverish followers was bullshit.

Megan Kelly, by letting him speak and challenging him, even if you don't think she did it enough, damaged him and his goals far more than she assisted them.
