The email to the younger Mr. Trump was sent by Rob Goldstone, a publicist and former British tabloid reporter who helped broker the June 2016 meeting. In a statement on Sunday, Mr. Trump acknowledged that he was interested in receiving damaging information about Mrs. Clinton, but gave no indication that he thought the lawyer might have been a Kremlin proxy.
Mr. Goldstone’s message, as described to The New York Times by the three people, indicates that the Russian government was the source of the potentially damaging information. It does not elaborate on the wider effort by Moscow to help the Trump campaign.

1st Day revealed Donald Trump Jr. , Jared Kushner (Son in Law), and Paul Manafort (Campaign Manager) all knowingly met a russian agent / laywer.
2nd Day Donald Trump Jr. stated in his own statement he only went to the Russians to learn about campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton. Yet a 2nd statement later that day released in a press statement and not via the NYT, Jr. that Donald Trump Jr. stated he did not know it was going to be Oppo against Clinton and just he knew it was going to be info helpful for his father's campaign.
3rd Day NYT release we have the e-mails and in the e-mails it was stated you knew for sure you were going to visit the Russian Agent, and the Russian Agent wanted to give you dirt on Clinton. Donald then said I like this e-mail and instead of telling someone like the FBI, let me invite my good friend, my brother in law and my campaign manager to meet this source.
Note I am skipping thousands of details for I do not want to write a 10 to 30 page essay on this subject of what we have learned in the last 72 hours and the various 4 Donald Trump Jr Statements (3 of which in the last 72 hours) on this meeting, nor his twitter rants and so on.
So in sum make conversations about E-Mails stop. Fine lets talk collusion or treason or Russia but let's not use that nasty word which is E-Mail for whenever it is E-Mail the conversation on both sides seems to go CRAZY. Even when we have printed out copies of the e-mails people pretend the sensory version of events did not exist and they just make stuff up, reality seems untethered to reality.
